I still remeber the day kate came with a vision for her wedding , she wanted everything baby pink with , whole hotel banquet room draped around with drapery .
The beautiful mazanita tree centerpieces and stage was made up with 8 ft mazanita trees and branches joined together loaded with crystal and candle votives.

On October 30 2010 , the beautiful hindu ceremony held at BMO centre calgary , decorated with our curved mandap with , hand embrioded jakordhi backdrop and crystals . Please see the glimes of it in pictures below provide by cosmin danila.
Mandap represent structure used for hindu ceremony , each pillar the role that the couple's parents have played in bringing up their children, providing ongoing love, support, strength and guidance.

Aisle with lord ganesh ji statues considered lucky and blessing when you start a new life or important step in your life .

The reception was held at the same venue , the hall was flipped from ceremony to reception decor , The main elements were tree centerpieces , stage created from the mandap pillars , adding some customized details . please see the glimpses for reception below

The centerpieces were mazanita trees with flower balls crystals , LED candles and wedding favors with Nisha and sonu pictures in key chains to personalize the elements .

This theme itself is a cluster of diff. themes right from the golden old days of bollywood to the current flashy bollywood. we had a had chance to decorate a bollywood theme party at westin hotel on May 13 2011 .
This party had taj mahal lounge to set the mood for all glimps of bollywoods and india greatest treasure symbol taj mahal as wall backdrop .the room was filled indian carved handmade furniture , lights and beautiful hand embriodery overlays for cocktail tables please the some pics from taj mahal lounge .

The main room was decorated with ceiling drapes and lamps hanging in the middle of it , the tables had 5 colour table cloths alternated . The ivory chair wraps had colourfull kashmina scarfs for guest to take home.

The hall was lighted up by beautiful light effects by Stardusteventgroup.

The entrance way was to welcome all guest in bollywood way , with movie posters , red carpet and bollywood photoshoot backdrops to take home memories for the the night please the glimpse of it below .

With a beautiful dance around the groom, who came riding on a spectacular white horse, both families were found at the entrance of the Doubletree Hotel Santa Ana. The Baraat began and overflowed with emotion. A couple in love inspired this beautiful Indian wedding.

A solemn ceremony was held in the beautiful rooms of the hotel and so they joined their lives in a traditional way inside the beautiful mandap who witnessed this memorable occasion.

Lin & Jirsa documented this beautiful love story, which continued throughout the day and as in any Indian wedding, it was full of familiarity, love, tradition, color, laughter and happiness.

Color effects us in ways such as persuasion, arousal, inspiration, challenge, danger, repulsion, etc... It's why you buy things and why you don't. It's where you go and where you believe you're not allowed to go. Color is one of the first things we discover as babies. Color even controls the flow of everyday traffic.

When it comes time to start picking and mixing and matching colors for your wedding, don't consider yourself an expert in the area unless A) You are a formally-trained artist with years of experience or B) You have aninnate, almost in-born, ability to select the proper paring of colors when called upon. Many people people make the mistake of thinking themselves one of those two when, in fact, they have very little ability to even match their daily work outfit!

Your understanding of color will be a giant step in you nailing down wedding day specifics. Understanding why black is reserved for funerals and not weddings will keep you from making some pretty awful mistakes when planning out the most important day of your life. One possibility is to leave the solid colors like black and gray to the groom and his groomsmen and balance them out by selecting something more eye catching but not too overwhelming for the women. More often then not, white is reserved for the bride but the proper selection of color for your bridesmaid dresses and flowers will help in solidifying your place as the center of attention. All elements around you should work with you and not against you.

Bursts of color fillled every corner of the tent . A cozy lounge area with a bed and pillows helped set the laid back vibe at the sangeet, a celebration they had two nights before the ceremony.

The regal, seven-tier cake was made to match brides fabulous, red reception gown. Scarlet, white, gold and purple sugar flowers trailed down the cake, and little gold accents echoed the design of the bride’s jewelry.

The tables were topped with arrangements of fruit and flowers in bold oranges, greens, pinks and yellows. Indian-style lanterns added warm candlelight to the tables.

The ceremony took place beneath a tent over a fountain in the bride's parents' yard. To inject romance into the space, pink roses covered the fountain and the bridal canopy

A mixture of round and rectangular tables featured tightly-packed spheres of saffron, burgundy and fuchsia blooms. The fragrant globes sat atop regal candelabras with beads draping down for extra glamour.

2011 Wedding Trends

The following trends have been compiled from hundreds of sources in both North America and Europe to guide your selections and inform you of the vast array of options available.

Wedding Dresses

Romantic, flowing dresses in floor-length styles remain popular. Brides today choose dresses with flowing, soft fabrics, ruffles, satin sashes (at the waist), and delicate floral details. Most dress silhouettes are refined and include the delicate overlaying of fabrics such as chiffon, tulle and lace. Gowns with crystal, cubic zirconia, and/or pearl embellished bodices are very popular at the moment.

The modified A-line skirt also remains prominent on the fashion runways (slim through the waist and flared at the bottom) although many designers have included ball gowns and tea-length styles in their lines as well. Strapless gowns are perennial favorites, but this season has brought back the off-the-shoulder look for brides who want to accentuate their neckline or draw attention to gorgeous jewelry.

Wedding Accessories

Shorter trains and veils (especially the bird cage veil) are popular as are pretty boleros, and shawls. For colder weather, brides choose wraps of faux-fur, velvet, heavy satin, or pashmina. Light weight fabrics, including organza, lace, tulle and chiffon, make perfect wraps for the Spring or Summer bride and reduce sun exposure on bare arms and shoulders.Pearls, rhinestones, and crystals remain the top jewelry choice for necklaces and earrings. Crystal brooches are also a popular accent for wearing on the dress, in the hair or on the bouquet handle.

Wedding Hair Styles

There are no clear trends in hair styles, although wearing the hair in long romantic waves or loosely pulled back are popular choices for brides with long hair. Hair ornaments such as hairpins, brooches, and hair vines made with crystals, pearls, rhinestones, and/or silk flowers are also popular.Beautiful tiaras and combs made with either rhinestones, crystals, or pearls have been the trend for many seasons and seem to be getting smaller as more crystal-embellished dress styles take center-stage. Some brides are placing their veils directly on their hair or using a single silk flower for a simple, classic look.
